The Lamar Corporate Headquarters has been named winner of a 2010 AISC IDEAS2 award, the highest recognition given to steel structures built in North America. The building was also the subject of the January 2008 cover story in the American Institute of Steel Constructions's monthly journal, Modern Steel Construction, as well as several published papers on vibration analysis. SDI worked closely with the owner and the architect to integrate structure and architecture in this bold 125 foot cantilevered office space ensuring a workspace of striking beauty and stability.
