sdi is proud of its long history of service to the Cranbrook Schools and their campus of Eliel Saarinen masterworks in Bloomfield, Michigan. sdi is entrusted with ongoing monitoring and restorations of structures throughout the campus as well as oversight of art installations. sdi has served as engineer of record on new building such as the Vaughan Boys Gym, the Science Institute West Entry, and the Academy Addition by Pritzker Award winning architect Rafael Moneo. Additionally sdi has consulted on construction of projects by architects Steven Holl and Peter Rose.
