Renovations at teh University of Michigan
Law School entailed enclosing an existing
courtyard with a skylight and providing a new
skybridge above the courtyard. In order to
accomodate new pedestrian circulation
patterns, an elevator was suspended in the
upper floors of the tower.

SDI-Structures worked closely with the design
team and owner to address, technical, historic,
and functional challenges associated with
these dramatic new building features.
