Engineering New Record and McGray Hill recognized the 2010 expansion to Michigan Stadium as the country's top sports related project for 2010. SDI partnered with HNTB for Kansas City, and KMW of Boston for the $240 million sideline structures and skyboxes. SDI provided foundation design and engineering of the brick classing system to support a new look for the largest football stadium in the country. SDI was also engineer of record for the 1998 six thousand seat expansion and scoreboard project with Philadelphia based Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates.
